Soaked Moong
भिगोया हुआ मूंग तैयार करने की सामग्री और विधि।
Ingredients and Method to prepare a healthy Soaked Moong.

3. | Heeng | 1 pinch |
4. | Red Chilli Powder | 1/4 tsp |
5. | Salt | To Taste |
6. | Lemon Juice | 2 – 3 drops |

Instructions:
- Soak the Moong:
- Take 30g of whole moong and soak it overnight in a bowl with triple the amount of water.
- Drain and Rinse:
- In the morning, drain the water and rinse the moong well under running water.
- Strain the Moong:
- Use a strainer to remove excess water after rinsing.
- Cook the Moong:
- Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add a pinch of heeng (asafoetida) and let it sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the soaked moong to the pan, followed by salt and red chilli powder. Stir well to coat the moong with spices.
- Simmer:
- Cook the moong on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Finish with Lemon:
- Turn off the flame, and add a few drops of lemon juice to the cooked moong. Mix well.
- Serve:
- Serve the soaked and spiced moong hot, either as a snack or as a side dish.
