Dr. Shilpa Rathore
Dr. Shilpa Rathore is an accomplished academic leader, currently serving as the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Head, Department of Community Science at Bhupal Nobles’ University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. A renowned expert in Human Development and Family Studies, Dr. Rathore brings over three decades of academic excellence, research innovation, and leadership to the field. She earned her Ph.D. from Mohanlal Sukhadia University in 1999 and has since made impactful contributions through her extensive body of work, including 11 national and 9 international research papers, a published book, three book chapters, and two research tools.
Her thought leadership extends beyond borders — her widely acclaimed presentation on the lives of Army Officers’ wives at an international conference in Malaysia drew praise for its depth and perspective, inspired by her own life as a Colonel’s spouse. A dedicated mentor and research guide, Dr. Rathore is actively shaping the next generation of scholars. She holds life memberships in leading professional bodies such as the Indian Menopause Society (IMS) – Udaipur Chapter, Home Science Association of India (HSAI), and the Social Science and Humanities Association (SSHA). With a blend of academic rigor, empathy, and vision, Dr. Shilpa Rathore continues to drive meaningful impact in education, research, and social development.
Neha Shekhawat
Neha Shekhawat is a qualified clinical dietitian trained from AIIMS New Delhi. She is sports nutritionist from Association of sports and fitness sciences. She is a certified Diabetes Educator from National Diabetic Education Programme. She is UGC NET qualified. She completed her master’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner and awarded gold medal for the same in the year 2011. She was university merit holder for her graduation. She awarded fellowship for her M.Sc. dissertation from department of science and technology, govt. of Rajasthan. She started her career in 2012 from Kothari Hospital Bikaner and worked there as consultant dietitian. Later she worked in the project entitled AI-NPOF at ICAR-NRCSS, Ajmer and awarded best centre award. Currently she is working as guest faculty at Department of Food Science and nutrition at MPUAT, Udaipur. Total 37 research papers, articles and bulletin and book chapters published till date in various international and national level on her name. She is life member of Indian Dietetics Association and Indian Society of Seed Spices.
